
Orange fruits(and infact most citrus fruits) in Nigeria are not actually orange in colour, they’re usually green or yellow.Above are imported citrus fruits I saw at the mall, they look a bit like tangerines.
Orange fruits down here, are an all-round-the year fruit. It doesn’t exactly have season. It’s one of the commonest fruits in Nigeria and among the cheapest too.

Most of the oranges picked in Florida are picked when they are still green and then spray-painted the traditional orange color. I guess Americans are just spoiled. I think we would get used to peeling green citrus fruit. ๐ Love the photo. Thanks for joining the challenge!
